Get to the meeting place early - Have a check-in list and prepare a special place for the girls to check-in. Make sure that your chaperones arrive early also to help with check-in and loading. Do not allow any parent to leave until you are SURE that their daughter has EVERYTHING that she needs for the trip. Otherwise you'll waste valuable time trying to get in touch with them to come back with the item(s).

 If traveling by car, make sure that all vehicles have a full tank of gas and the tires are filled up - hang a cinnamon or peppermint air freshener in each vehicle to increase the driver's alertness.
