The Girl Scout Little House in Pine Castle

The Lillian D. Wells Little House or the Pine Castle Scout House, as it is usually referred to, is a part of the Green Oaks Service Unit. It sits on privately owned land held in trust by the Wells family for use by the Pine Castle Girl Scouts. The House was built in two stages in the 1940's by the Pine Castle Woman's Club.

The house is available for sleepovers for any Girl Scout troop. It is a great place for younger girls who are just starting to get oriented to the idea of camping or older girls who just want to have a fun time. The house has two large rooms with tables, a kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave and double sink, two bathrooms and shower.  Outside is a campfire circle and grill. It sits on about 1/4 acre of land that is mostly open, perfect for pitching tents or playing games.  A new sidewalk has been added to provide handicapped access to the house.

If you are interested in renting this house please contact A. Spivey for reservations and information
