There are eight basic outdoor skills that all Girl Scouts should be taught as they learn progression in camping: Outdoor Manners, Dressing for the Outdoors, How to tie Knots, Use of Knives, Fire Building and Safety, Cooking outdoors, First Aid and Protecting the Natural Areas that they will be camping in.
