note the rules concerning Award presentations and donation requests
at unit meetings:
Bronze
award projects can be presented at unit meetings to request
donations. Please contact your
school coordinator to set up a
presentation time for the next service unit meeting. Arrangements
must be made at lease one month in advance.
It is
preferable that girls or troops earning the Silver or Gold awards
seek donations for their projects outside of the service unit. The
purpose of these projects is designed to motivate the girls to
"reach a little higher" and "go a little further" than the comfort
zone of the service unit.
Only
completed Silver and Gold award projects can be presented at unit
meetings and only during the January and April unit meeting dates.
Girls are welcome and encouraged to come and present their completed
projects at these times. Arrangement must be made through their
school
coordinator.
