Juniors
Girls in 4th and 5th grades

 

  Junior Insignia 

Uniforms:  Girl Scout Juniors and older will wear their vests and sashes with their own white shirts and khaki pants or khaki skirts.   For now a girl going into 6th in the Fall (08-09) as a Cadette can still wear her Junior vest and continue to complete her Bronze Award and choose to do the New Cadette Leadership Journey.

Meet - Dez I Ner, the bossy, controlling spider with trendy clothes and an obsession with power

 

Awards - The Power of One, The Power of Team, and the Power of Community

  • The Power of One/The Power of Story - through tales, girls understand the power of a story and its role in a community. They explore the "HERstory" of heroines. (Discover)

  • The Power of Team - this is the team building part of the Journey. Girls practice teaming up and creating a comic book style story based on steps for taking action. (Connect)

  • The Power of Community - the girls will implement their plan and get the community involved. (Take Action)

Girls earn the three awards as they journey from the Power of One, to the Power of the Team to the Power of the Community.
