Troops with Citrus Council mandated accounts
at bank partners (Wachovia and Fairwinds)
need to contact the Service Unit Manager to
get a tax exempt number.
She numbers given to her from Council
specifically to be used for Girl Scout troops.
Please note a few guidelines:
Most businesses want you to update their records each year
with a new copy of your tax exempt number.
You
will need to renew your tax exempt number every five years.
Please remember that this is for your Girl Scout Troop use
ONLY. Any
fraudulent use of the number will result in having it revoked!
