One of the more tedious, but very important, part of being a leader is taking care of troop finances and anything else that pertains to money in association with the troop. A troop is like a small business in that it can have it's own checking and savings accounts and tax exempt number. And like that small business owner, a troop leader has to turn in reports periodically to account for how the money is being raised and spent.
