A Cookie Booth is a troop sale
held outside a business location. Troops set up and decorate a table
from which they sell cookies and inform customers about their goals for
the money earned during the sale. This allows them to solicit to
customers that they were not able to sell to during the preorder phase
of the sale. It also educates the public about Girl Scouts and their
program. Girls and adults working booths during booth sales should
always remember that they are not only representing themselves to the
public but all of GSUSA.
