At a Court of
Awards, Girl Scouts receive recognition for their accomplishments in the
form of patches, badges, pins and certificates. Court of Awards
ceremonies are held several times during the year and even more
frequently for very young girls. A Court of Awards may be used as a
closing ceremony for a project the whole troop has worked on, with each
girl receiving the patch or badge that symbolizes her effort. Or,
recognitions that individual girls have earned over a period of time may be
distributed at the Court of Awards |
